God is above creation, bigger than creation. He controls all things created, sustaining them by His Word of power. Yes, much of nature is awesome in its power, but not in comparison to God!

Oh mankind, so spiritually blind and foolish as to worship the creature rather than its Creator. Foolish yes, even more so today. For the magnificent design of all things, pointing to the Creator, is more clearly seen today than ever before.

Let us see God's glory, and ascribe all honor and praise and worship to Him! Let us not be among the ignorant, the rebellious, the foolish who fear, love, and trust in created things, and despise God in unbelief.

Prayer For The Day

O Lord, I recognize how easily idolatry comes to me. I confess that I too often worry rather than believe in You, trust myself and my resources rather than You, and love far too many things of this world more than You. Forgive me, with Your gracious love, and enable me to give You all worship and praise! Amen.
