Wow, what a Bible Study that must have been! Jesus Himself surveying the whole Old Testament, displaying what was revealed by God about our Savior in Holy Scripture!

We do the best we can, with Seminary, Confirmation, Bible Studies, and Sermons, to explain what the Scriptures teach about Jesus our Savior, but I know we don't do as well as Jesus did!

However, note that Jesus used Scripture to reveal God's message of love. It is the same for us! We too must hear the Word, study the Word with the instructor God has given us, our pastor, and meditate on the Word. Through these means Jesus will also teach us "all things."

Prayer For The Day

O Lord, often I seek Your wisdom apart from Your Word and Sacraments, trusting in my own intellect and wisdom to discern Your ways. Take me back to Your Word, and humble me to learn from Your servant all that You have revealed of Your love, in Your Word. Amen.
