A trouble maker was there?  Making trouble for King David?  I don't suppose you have any "trouble makers" in your life!  There is always trouble for God's people.  "We must through much tribulation enter the Kingdom of God."  But God delivered David.  God will deliver us!

Though we are aware of the dangers and treachery of "trouble makers," and must do what we can to guard against them, we can learn to be at peace.  We are God's children, and He will watch over us.  It turned out well for David, and it will turn out well for us!

Prayer For The Day

O Lord, I have my share of trouble in this life.  Too often I worry and fret about it.  Protect me from those who would destroy me.  Give me faith to see Your loving protection.  Give me peace and joy, even when facing "troublers," for Jesus' sake, Amen.
