Okay, if we're saved by grace, through faith in Jesus, apart from works of the law, I guess we're done. The job has been finished. It's time to just live and let live!
Our sinful flesh tempts us also with this reasoning. It is true that there is nothing we have to do. Jesus has accomplished our salvation in His sufferings and death on the cross.
However, let us remember that "it is God's will that you should be sanctified." God wants our lives to improve, for our hearts to grow in His love, for our lives to reflect His love!

O Lord, thank You for the reminder that I do not have to wait until death to enjoy the fruits of Your salvation! Thank You for Your concern, Your ministry to me, that I may be sanctified. Touch my heart with Your love, that I too may will to be sanctified. Amen.
