The Way Creates Conflict

The great disturbance was about money. The Apostle Paul taught that "man-made gods are no gods at all." Those making idols feared the loss of income and prestige, if many were converted to "the Way." They caused a riot, and Paul's life was in jeopardy!

The Way. A beautiful description of knowing and believing God's love in Christ Jesus. Yes, the Way stirs up the world! Money, prestige, power and influence are more important to people of the world than truth, knowing God's love, and eternal life!

Not for us! We who know "the Way, the Truth, and the Life," would risk all to follow Him! Nothing the world has to offer compares to Jesus and eternal life!

Prayer For The Day

O Lord Jesus, You have also brought me onto "the Way," by touching my heart with the knowledge of Your great love! Preserve me from the dangers of those who remain enmeshed in the darkness and delusion of the world. Enable me to speak the truth that others might also come to know You! Thank You for showing me the truth, and giving me life! Amen!
