The Gospel is the power of God unto salvation. It is the seed sown by God in the world. It creates faith in Jesus, the true knowledge of God, and it keeps bearing fruit - love, peace, righteousness and joy!

Think of it, all the years of your life, since you first heard the Gospel and understood the grace of God in all its truth, the Gospel has been bearing fruit in you and growing!

If you could see what you would have been like without the benefit of the Gospel's power all these years, I'm afraid you would be shocked to tears! Oh, how truly good God is!

Prayer For The Day

O Lord, sometimes I don't think I'm growing much at all. But You have Your schedule, and You are growing me the best possible way, through Your Gospel. Help me produce abundant good fruit, and keep me grateful always of all the blessings Your Gospel has produced in me. Amen.
