Why would God's Spirit depart from a man? Impenitence and unbelief! Why would the Lord torment someone with an "evil spirit?" To drive him to repentance, or perhaps just to punish. When afflicted with an evil spirit, do not whine, or rebel, or conclude that God has forsaken you! Humble yourself, return to God, hold Him to His Word, that "nothing can seperate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." God loves it when we honor Him by accounting Him truthful and faithful, and hold Him to His Word! He will send His Spirit and deliver you, and you will once again praise Him! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
O Lord, there are times when I am frightened by the things around me, and the things within me. My temptation is to flee, and to flee from You.
